Always Evolving. Built with an aerospace shell design and materials, we were able to get the D4 Composite helmet to 1050 grams without sacrificing any strength. Mips® C2 protection system is used to add an additional layer of safety in the event of a fall. For comfort, the D4 Composite routes cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the polymer center and power grid side mesh keeping your head cooler during the ride. X-static® and XT2® anti-microbial/anti-odor padding keep the inside of the helmet a much nicer place to be.

"This helmet is worth every penny. Pulling it out of its protective packaging, it was visually stunning; bright, crisp graphics, metallic silver accents(!), and thoughtful vent openings. When my teen put it on, he said that it fit perfectly right out of the box, super comfortable, and that this (beefier) DH helmet was about the same weight as his current XC helmet. I love that! Troy Lee just makes great equipment."

"I returned this helmet and it was confirmed delivered back to Troy Lee Designs on August 14th. It didn’t fit me and I asked for an exchange of an XL. Today is August 19th and I haven’t heard a word from Troy Lee Designs. I was hoping it would have been shipped and almost here by now."
