Troy Lee Designs Ruckus Cargo Pants

"Troy Lee Designs Ruckus Cargo Pants I’ve been a big fan of the style and functionality of the Ruckus shorts and love them in every way. That’s what led me to purchase the Ruckus Cargo Pants. At nearly $300, they’re definitely a premium item, so I had high expectations. The material, fit, and overall construction are excellent. They’re comfortable, durable, very functional breathability and perform well on the bike. However, on my very first ride, I noticed the lower leg rubbing on my chainring, which left a stain on the fabric. This was disappointing, especially at this price point. I’ve already paid to have the pants shortened because the original length was too long for me, but even after tailoring, the rubbing issue occurred. The pants could be better tapered or made to eliminate chainring rubbing. I use a stretchy arm sleeve that I cut down to keep my pants from rubbing and now the pants are essential in cooler temps. Base layer tights fit wonderfully though they are a little too breathable for winter fat biking in -10 temps. The pants are perfectly cut and the pockets are deep and keep items such as phone and glasses behind your legs which is super comfortable and convenient. One improvement would have back pockets and then I would wear them as an everyday casual pant with style. Very happy with them for biking. Regards, Dave"

Love these unique pants

"super comfy, stay in place, easy to fit D3 knee pads under, and I especially love the HUGE pockets! I was able to carry tools, pump, cell, wallet and still had room to stash rain jacket and beanie and had a pocket left over! Wish they had zippered lower leg so I could easily pull pads after ride."

Big cargo pockets

"Lots of pockets. I hardly notice my phone in the phone pocket. I can fit a folding saw in the side pockets. The material seems resilient against scuffs and scrapes and keeps me warm in 36 degree weather. I’m 5’5” about 150 pounds. The 30 waist fits snug at first but loosens up. The length is perfect. However one leg seems shorter than the other. No big deal."
