UCI World Cup Downhill round two was a success with four elite podiums. The week was topped by a perfect performance for the Austrian, Vali Höll in Leogang. Vali was the fastest qualifier, semi-final race winner and finals champion. She did it all in front of her home crowd.
Adding to the reasons to drink champaign, there's a new overall series points leader in town. Camille Balanche snagged second in the final, which gives her the overall series points lead. Cami's Dorval Am Commencal teammate Monika Hrastnik finished fourth giving the #TLDwomen 3/5 elite women’s podium positions. We’ll cheers to that!
Luca Shaw was the TLD star on the elite men's side, taking the first podium of his season, with his D4 Helmet in hand, with a fifth place finish in the final. Luca now sits eight overall in the standing with Canyon Factory teammate Troy Brosnan in ninth and Benoît Coulanges in tenth.
