Corona, Calif. (January 23, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs riders Taylor Robert and Kacy Martinez enjoyed a beautiful day in the desert for the first National Hare and Hound race with Robert taking second in the Pro Class and Martinez claiming the top spot in the Women’s A Class.
After a rainy week in Lucerne Valley, California, the riders were treated with non-dusty conditions allowing for great racing for all classes that lined up on Sunday. Robert didn’t get the start he was looking for and was outside the top three when he came around the first loop. Robert was determined to catch the front pack and by the final few miles, he had first place in his sight but ran out of time and settled for a solid second place.
Martinez took advantage of the great conditions and got out to a blistering start when the flag dropped for the Women’s A Class. She quickly distanced herself from the rest of the pack and was able to come away with the first win of the season.

The next National Hare and Hound will take place in a few weeks in Alamogordo, New Mexico on February 12.
Both Robert and Martinez were looking good in their
SE Corsa Turquoise Racewear. Robert was also sporting a shiny new
SE4 Helmet. See the collection of the
