Corona, Calif. (October 23, 2017) – Troy Lee Designs’ Kacy Martinez rode to another podium finish helping her secure the Women’s A Class championship one round early. Her KTM teammate Taylor Robert came from behind in the Pro Class to finish second overall for the day.
The penultimate round of the Hare and Hound season brought beautiful weather for the riders. Knowing she had the chance to clinch in Lucerne Valley, Martinez got a good start and was able to maintain second place for the entire race. Not finishing lower than third, Martinez clinched the 2017 Women’s A Class Championship one round early.
After getting out to a fourth place start, Robert turned it on in Loop 2 to come around in second where he would eventually finish. Even with missing two rounds to injury, Robert has the chance to finish out the season second overall in the points standings.
The final National Hare and Hound of the season will take place once again at Lucerne Valley, California on November 12.
Both Robert and Martinez were wearing the KTM Powerwear from the 2018 collection, and Robert was also sporting a shiny new
