The Heat was turned up at Budds Creek this past weekend and Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM’s Shane McElrath turned it up even more by earning his first overall victory of the season with an impressive 1-1 sweep at Round 11. McElrath elevated his performance on Saturday to dominate the competition. It was the clean starts and smooth riding that ultimately gave McElrath the confidence to pull away from his competition in both Moto’s.
