Nikita Ducarroz Brings Home Bronze

And that's a wrap for the world's first BMX Freestyle competition on the largest international stage. Representing Switzerland, Nikita Ducarroz makes history in Japan and brings home the FIRST EVER bronze medal in BMX Freestyle.

Qualifying third in seeding with a score of 83.55, Nikita Ducarroz stomped her run in seeding to show why she's a favored medalist. Combining barspins, a 540 and a backflip in her finals run Nikita went on to elevate her score to an impressive 89.20 which would be enough to bring home bronze. Missed the competition?
