The biggest freeride MTB event in the world, Red Bull Rampage is back after a one year hiatus in 2020. Returning to the desert for the fifteenth time, this year's competition will be hosted in Virgin, Utah at the same site as 2017. This go around also marks the most Troy Lee Designs athletes ever invited with a record number of six rider representing TLD.
Brandon Semenuk
The reigning champ, the 3x Rampage winner, the G.O.A.T. Whatever you want to call him, Semenuk is back in the desert and video wizard will be competing in his eighth Red Bull Rampage event and looking to capture a record breaking fourth win.
Working closely with Brandon, his #tldpaint D4 Helmet pulls inspiration from desert scenery and a nostalgic retro rampage graphic.
Tom VanSteenbergen
Competing in his sixth Red Bull Rampage event, Tom VanSteenbergen has progressed to the top after sending it with his signature style. Earning best trick in 2017, then just one spot shy of a podium in 2018 and most recently he grabbed the podium he deserved in 2019, Tom VanSteenbergen will be one to watch in Utah.
For TVS’ custom TLD painted D4 Helmet this year we worked with Tom to create what we’re calling a shred style design with desert sand colors topped off with a TVS logo on the top in hand spun silver leaf.
Cam Zink
The American badass, the family man, world record holder, living legend, here’s a look at custom #tldpaint Red Bull Rampage D4 Helmet. With an impressive resume including one Rampage win, two runner-up finishes and one additional podium, Cam Zink is always one to watch.
This year, Cam Zink got on the phone with the man himself Troy Lee and gave his vacation and island inspiration to the master for him to draw up.
Jaxson Riddle
The rookie, Jaxson will be competing at his first ever Red Bull Rampage this year. After putting himself on the map with viral videos and impressive skills, the local Utah native was signed to Red Bull in 2020 and has continued to gain popularity and notoriety.
For his custom TLD paint helmet, Jaxson asked to add one of his favorite quotes on the top, "I wanna be in the energy, not with the enemy."
Kyle Strait
The OG, one of the originals to compete at the first ever Red Bull Rampage in Zion National Park in 2001, Kyle is a 2x Rampage winner and one of only two American's to ever win the event.
After Kyle Strait’s 2019 Rampage design was used as inspiration for this year’s Exile production #d4helmet, we worked with Kyle to elevate the same design originally produced by our paint team. Adding hand sketched lines, some new colors and a bucking bronco to the top, swipe to see all the details.
Brendan Fairclough
The people's champ, Brendog was invited back to Utah after his stellar 2019 performance where his run featured some of the most original lines as well as an unbelievable backflip over a canyon. Unfortunately, while racing a World Cup Downhill event in Lenzerheide Brendan sustained an injury that will not allow him to compete this year. Get well soon Brendog!
Inspired by his signature D4 Helmet, this time Brendan Fairclough switched up the modern pinstripes color combo to purple and yellow and added his daughter’s name on the back.
