Troy Lee Designs athlete Vali Höll has claimed the 2026 UCI Downhill World Cup overall title, securing her fifth World Cup championship and further cementing her place among the most dominant athletes in downhill racing.
With the title, Vali makes it four consecutive World Cup overall championships and five titles in the last six seasons, an incredible run defined by speed, consistency and an ability to deliver when the pressure is highest.
Finishing the Job in Les Gets
Heading into the final round of the 2026 UCI Downhill World Cup season in Les Gets, France, the equation was simple: finish inside the top five and the overall title was hers.
Vali did exactly that.
On one of the sport's biggest stages, she crossed the line third, finishing just over one second off the winning time and adding another podium to an already remarkable season.
More importantly, the result secured the points she needed to officially become the 2026 UCI Downhill World Cup Overall Champion.
A season for the History Books
The title caps another standout World Cup campaign for Vali. Throughout 2026, she once again demonstrated the combination of outright speed and consistency that has defined her career, collecting five World Cup victories on her way to the overall crown. In doing so, Vali became the first woman in a decade to win five Downhill World Cup races in a single season, matching a feat last accomplished by Rachel Atherton. Five race wins. Another overall championship. And another season spent raising the standard of women's downhill racing.
The Next Challenge: Val di Sole
There isn't much time to celebrate. With the World Cup title secured, Vali now turns her attention to Val di Sole, Italy, and the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. And once again, history is within reach. Vali heads into World Championships with an opportunity to claim her fifth UCI Downhill World Championship title, carrying the momentum of an incredible World Cup season into one of the biggest races of the year.
