It was a whirlwind of a weekend for the TLD bike roster with not one, but two premier races taking place on the world stage by way of the the BMX World Championship in Nantes, France and the UCI World Cup Downhill round 6 in Snowshoe, West Virginia. When the world's fastest crossed the line, Felicia Stancil was crowned the new BMX Women's Elite World Champion, Simon Marquart earned the BMX Men's Elite World Championship and Camille Balanche won round 6 of the World Cup Downhill.

A true comeback story, Felicia Stancil is coming off of the biggest injury of her career, a dislocated hip in January that sidelined her from racing for nearly 5 months. Without missing a beat, the reigning USA National Champion Felicia earned the rainbow jersey by .01 of a second to put the red, white and blue on the top step and earn her career first world title.
Simon Marquart, who won the 2021 UCI BMX World Cup overall title, put on a display of great riding all week and went on to capitalize in the final to win the Elite Men's BMX World Championship. The historic win marks the first ever BMX World Title for the country of Switzerland and the first of Simon’s career. The newest member of the TLD BMX team, Great Britain Olympian Kye Whyte joined Simon and his D4 Helmet on the podium after taking silver in the final.
