"Like always, TLD delivers quality"

Comfortable quality shirt

"High quality and comfortable. As a female I was surprised how well it fit as a unisex option— I suspect due to the quality and stretch of the material between the pads. It’s comfortable and light enough that I wore it on a xc ride as well and forgot I had it on during the up and it game be some peace of mind on the down."

Short Sleeve / Long Sleeve Baselayer

"Bought both. Great product! Amazing fit and protection. Having both allows for worry free rides during summer burns and winter shreds."

Great quality, hard to take off

"Overall feel and comfort is really good. For sizing context, im 6’3” 210lb fairly broad shouldered and ordered an XL. It is a tight fit, but does not restrict movement. The armor stays where it need to be without choking you. The only valid complaint i have is the difficulty to remove. It is very difficult to remove especially if you are sweaty (so basically every ride). Having a full zip that makes it a ‘side entry’ shirt would help quite a bit. Im worried i will tear the seams in the armpit/sleeve region when tugging them to be able to slide my arm out. Arguably a broader torso fit would help, but i cant say if that’d mess of the fit. If you are relatively slender in your arms/shoulders it wont be as bad. Guideance for removal: fully unzip and shimmy your arms into the sleeve slightly, enough to put a little slack in the sleeve but your elbow should still be well outside the sleeve. Reach back and grasp the spine pad with both hands, ceossing at the wrist (left hand on right back, right on left) then pull up. Pulling the spine pas away for a moment before removing helps reduce the ‘grip’ the sweat adds Overall still a good buy. Excellent low profile pad for street/dirtjump riding"

Good, not great

"I was using a competing brand and it was time for a replacement however my go to brand has been on back order for a while so I figured I would try the Troy Lee one. It could be almost the same as the other brand however the zipper system on this one needs some work. When I saw the zipper system when looking around I was excited thinking it would make it easier to take off after being sweaty. The problem with it is that there is nothing to keep the zipper down so withing a few minutes of moving around, the zipper rides up unzipping it. To help with that, I used a safety pin to hold it down. The first time using it the tip part of the zipper ripped when I was taking it off and I had to resew it. The way the zipper fabric attaches to the breathable mesh is very weak. When my other brand comes back in stock, I'll be switching back and giving this one to my teenage son."

Almost perfect

"I'm new to protective clothes, and I'm very happy with this "shirt". I also got the Ghost shorts, gloves, and knee & elbow sleeves. I've had one low-speed topple that landed me on my hip, elbow, and shoulder; the outfit worked great and left me unscathed. I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this is on hot summer days. The breeze goes right through it. it has a 3/4 zipper that unzips upward almost to your armpit. But it's still hard to get off, especially when sweaty, so I wish it had a full zipper so I could take it off like a jacket. Another detail I'd suggest is some kind of attachment to the elbow sleeves, as they tend to slip down. I'm 5'9",150 lb with a 42" chest. The Large fits me well, and is plenty tall."
