POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the National Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Manager serves as the primary contact for their assigned territory, driving measurable growth in sales and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, establishing and maintaining high-quality accounts, and ensuring the company's products and services are consistently represented at the highest standard. The position emphasizes hitting key sales KPIs, proactive outbound communication, and delivering exceptional customer support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company's overall revenue goals.
- Account Management: Build, maintain, and grow a portfolio of high-quality accounts, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strategic Communication: Execute outbound communication strategies to engage prospective clients, identify new business opportunities, and nurture existing relationships.
- Collaborative Planning: Partner with Outside Sales Representatives to create and implement territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Data Management: Regularly update and maintain sales data in NetSuite, ensuring accurate and actionable reporting for leadership teams.
- Customer Support Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, resolving warranty, technical, and other issues promptly while delivering exceptional service.
- Feedback and Insights: Provide actionable feedback to Directors and internal departments to enhance customer experience, product offerings, and operational efficiency.
- Deal Closure: Lead sales negotiations, close transactions effectively, and ensure thorough follow-up to secure long-term relationships.
- KPI Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators, such as sales volume, account growth, and customer engagement metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in regular strategy meetings with Sales Leaders to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Networking: Actively network with clients and industry professionals to expand market reach and foster partnerships that align with company values.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales function.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and organization.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 3 years of experience working in the Bicycle or Powersports industry.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Must be a team player and willing to assist in other areas as needed.
- Proficient knowledge of NetSuite systems/software or another CRM system.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma requires. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
